Takeshi Sekizawa would appear with both his hands full of flowers and weeds, giving them equal affection, on any given day. Through the spring and the summer that I have had a chance to be around, Takeshi kept up his mischievousness, by leaving seasonal offerings in and around the house he humbly refers to the act as "Busho Ikebana". The lazy school of ikebana in other words not conforming to any style of flower school. Talented calligrapher, photographer and accordion player this third generation potter attends to his house and his garden as well as to his kiln along with his family in Mashiko.
