As the fine art world seems to be grasping at straws to find more grist for its mill, it is raiding the world of collectible vintage design. Probably as a response to the wildly successful Prouve show at Gagasion Gallery (and ones of its most interesting shows in years), Sonnabend in New York is showing extremely rare and beautiful work of French designer Jean Royere.
